Setting default value on EpiCombo

For anyone interested. I spent a few hours trying to set Billing terms to Proforma for each new customer using BPM on Customer.GetNewCustomer and in Customization. I start searching the e10help and found the post below. For each Epicor combo, you have to set up to fields to actually display the change straight after adapter method.

Continuing the discussion from EpiCombo select value form customization problem:

That did the trick! I had to use the TerritoryTerritoryDesc along with the TerritoryID to get the territory combo to work. I also had to use the SalesRepName along with the SalesRepCode to get salesperson combo to work. Funny how the epicor build in combos work differently than the custom ShortChar04 I added.

While this seems frustrating to have to populate 2 fields when the EpiCombo only needs to know the value and can display the description, there si a good reason. It the list view we may want to see both the value and the description. This means we have to populate both. The Business Object does this for us, but often during the initial display, we must set the value early.
