Importing a customization:
I eventually got it imported using Customization Maintenance instead of using developer mode to import it, but dat error. Come on.

What version are you on right now? I’ve noticed issues with the Company ID and menu items/customizations these days. It seems when you export from customization mode it might force the company id, but from solution manager it goes the all companies route, or visa versa? I can’t recall exactly which way it works but something funky has been going on there where it’s been messing with my ability to import customizations and Menu records. That’s been since 10.2.200.x I believe.
I’m on 10.2.200.11, but this was the first time I ran into this. We’ve been running that version since August.
I normally always use Customization Maintenance to import/export. It gives me control of the name and All Companies.
I can also validate before I try to open it.
