Disable Auto add Sales Tax on purchase orders

Hello All,
I’m testing purchase order creation to our suppliers, sales tax is added to each PO automatically.
there must be a flag that I can switch off prevent sales tax been auto added ? Not sure if that is company or site setting that I’m not finding… appreciate any help/comments…
