Any ideas as to why the “Constrained Material” checkbox is grayed out in Part Maintenance?

Is the part a Non-Stock one by chance? I believe that a part must be a Stock item to have the Contrained Material be on…

Thanks Brad.

No, these are all “Purchased” and “Stock” parts. The “Constrained Material” box is grayed out on all of them, which is impacting my scheduling.

So, I just got off the phone with support and they tell me I need APS to utilize this feature, which I don’t.

So, my material has a 5 day lead-time, which is considered in my Purchase Suggestions, however my Job is not going to consider that lead-time and schedule to start my Job now.

WTH… Am I missing something?
