Are there any plans to ever revamp the menu system?
For example, get rid of multiple menu items.
There would only be one shortcut to a program.
You would provide access to that based on security, not a menu item.
The same with layers/customizations on top.
That would be so much better.
(Insert safe harbor statement here)… we are looking at a future enhancement to the menu system (Navigation Initiative) to greatly simplify menu access, searching, duplicate elimination, search by Alias (PO instead of Purchase Order, etc), search for field, etc. we have not formally defined the “idea” but we are looking at all the ideas in Epicor Ideas around navigation within the system.
