SSRS Configuration Issue

Hi There,

I would like to host SSRS inside Azure. I decided to install a VM from the following template: “SQL Server 2017 Web on Windows Server 2016”. The discription tells this image “also inclused basic versions of Reporting Services for web reports”

After installing, I logon to the server and start the Reporting Services Configuration Manager, but I cannot logon. I need to fill in the server name and click Find to get the right instance. I get an error saying: “Unable to connect Report Server <servername>”

Also, I don’t see any SSRS services in the services.msc screen.

When I try to install SSRS anyway (downloading a separate installation file), the installer doesn’t mention anything about an existing installation, and asks the licence to use. Since the license of SQL server is included in this image, I don’t have one.

Any suggestions? Is there an installation log to check if reporting services should be installed at all?
