Solved threads

In addition to checking the “Solved” box by the post that includes the solution, it might be be nice if the originator adds “(SOLVED)” to the thread topic.

If I do a search and see several threads that look promising, I’d head to the one with “(SOLVED)” in it first.

Also when you mark a thread as “Solved” make sure you do so on the reply that gave you the solution, so that the person gets credit for helping

Actually I just did some reasearch and we will create / update an FAQ but there is a built in filter for your search term to look for Solved / Un-Solved. So there is no need to bastardise the topics.
Simply add “in:solved” to your search query as shown below

Where can we find a list of these filters (like “in:”) ??

If you click Options in the search it will show you the ones that come built in, the Solved option is a plug in
