Rogue BAQ or BPM

I have read a lot of contradictory statements about 10.  I'm wondering if the people at Epicor support are getting 8.03.410 confused with version 10?

Interestingly, that SCR does NOT appear on their SCR website (scrs.epicor.com).

I must have a rogue BAQ out there somewhere, but I don't know how to track it down. Something is dropping .p files into my Epicordata folder, up to a dozen or so a minute, and they all are named "baq##########.p" (that's "baq" followed by a random 10-digit number). There are actually two different .p files, a 3k one and an 11k one. They are straight text files and I can read what they're doing, but I've looked at the tables and methods listed and can't find anything that might be calling them.

What would the next step be in troubleshooting them?

I've stopped the BPM Action Process, no joy.

I guess the first question is, what would make something drop a file in the Epicordata folder in the first place?

We're on 9.05.702A, for all of about 6 weeks now (came up from 9.04.507A on 8/10/13). When I asked the support rep about a timeline for E10, he said this:

I looked on the SCR website for it and couldn't find it either.  I like to see what priority is given to an SCR and the target release. I contacted Epicor a couple of months ago trying to find out why some of my SCRs are on the SCR website and some aren't. It's not that there's a time lag, some of my newer ones are there and some of my older ones aren't. I got shuffled thru several levels of Epicor support and was finally told to contact support separately for each SCR to find out what the SCR status is. So...Epicor doesn't know why some are there and some are not!

I don't think our go-live target version for next month (9.05.701) has that problem. I backed off of 702 when I found other problems with the BAQs that showed up in that release. I rely too heavily on cross-company BAQs with summary tables. I was told those problems won't be fixed until 704 when framework was scheduled to be worked on. Maybe you'll get lucky and the 704 release will fix your problem too!

Thanks for the info!

Sue
