Report Help

With memos I often have to link only by Company and then filter to what I want. There is a performance hit.

In PriceListParts table the values are in arrays like with commissions for reps and you have to parse them out. I suppose they use the ~ (tilde) character like commissions. You may only be seeing the first entry which starts at zero.

I am building some price lists in vantage and am encountering two
problems.

First, historically we have added a memo in the customer file that
stated that customers tier level pricing for a particular product group.
I have built price lists to replace the need for this memo. I do however
have to assign each customer, the appropriate price list. I cannot see
how memo text relates to the customer file. In other words, how can I
create a report that shows me customer name and the memo text that
applies to them?

Second, I am trying to create a report that can be pulled for a user
defined customer that shows their price list detail. When I Create a
report using the PriceListParts table, it will list the parts in the
price list, the Base Price for the part, but the break quantity and
break price show as zero, even though the price list is complete and
functioning properly in Vantage. Anyone know how to get the break price
to show?

Thanks

Just found out that we currently have a person who each week prints
out the Job Traveler (Work Order) and manually goes through them to
find out what materials we will need to make the product. I was
wondering if anyone out there has a report that could do this for
them so they do not have to keep doing this manually. Basically
looking for a report that would give them Job#/MaterialType/Qty and
have it so I can group it by date....I'm working on one now, but
havent been able to get it right yet.

Thanks

STeve
Have you tried using the 'Mtl Status' Report from within the Job Tracker?
This can be run for any cutoff date and shows the status of all materials
for the job. It can be run for everything, or you can chose to see just the
exceptions.

Can't you use the time-phased material requirements or suggestions?

Now I think this is kind of what they are looking for, however I
think they were looking for a way to have all the materials needed
printed on one report for a given week.

Management needs yesterday!!! a report showing all employee's pay hours and
dollars and have it broke down for direct and indirect.

Anyone willing to share a report that has this or one that will get me on
the way to it quickly?

Thanks.

Jim,
I have a report that might help. The report works off of labor hours
and not out of the payroll tables. I'll send that group of reports to you
to try out.
