(off topic) Dual Processor Server

I've found nothing beyond those same performance tuning documents Epicor
support offered...
There no real processor tuning you can do as far as allocating CPU cycles
go. The only item related to multi-processor servers I've found is -spin in
the startup.pf.

BTW, I've been running dual PIII 550's for over a year now -- versions 3 and
4.

I have just purchased a Dual 550mhx Server, and plan on installing
Ver #3, and after it is stable I will upgrade that to Ver #4.

I am wondering if anybody has any suggestions on setting up the Dual
Processor Server, any potential problems, special settings, anything
that I should look out for? I have done this same thing to a single
processor, but wondered about any Special Settings, or problems, with
either Vantage 3 & 4, as well as Progress 8 & 9.

I have called tech support, and they sent me 2 docs related to this
(helpful), but I wanted actual User Insights.

Just make sure that you install NT correctly and set progress
parameter -spin 2000. It's unfortunate but the client needs
to be beefy too.
