When we try to do a non conformance for a material we get an error that a valid warehouse and bin is required. We just went live(10.2.300.5) and this was not in the older version (9.05.702A). It almost looks like it is only for AMM but we do not have AMM.
Any thoughts??
There is a place to set the default inspection warehouse in Company or Plant Config. Since this will go into inspection, it makes sense to have it move off the job and into an inventory location. We setup an Inspection warehouse with 1 bin and made it non-nettable. The assumption is, if someone believes it to be defective we want MRP to plan a replacement right away.
We have that set up. But in E9 we did not need to select this…it wasn’t even an option.
