Microsoft Teams

I briefly tried out teams for the task management. I didn’t like it. I thought it was very confusing. We were coming from Basecamp and looking for something with more features. We are on ClickUp now. They all have good and bad. I would like to be able to do more integration between the two, both platforms are growing a lot, so hopefully that becomes a possibility in the future.

MS has to get their Task strategy together. You have Outlook Tasks, To-Dos (Wunderlist) Tasks, and Planner Tasks. The Planner Tasks look the most promising to us. It’s a lot like Trello.

It would be great if someone took a crack at tasks using Agile strategies, but in a manufacturing setting. These platforms are great for programmers, but not so much for welding shop supervisors. If someone could hit that sweet spot, I think they could make a lot of money!

We’re using Teams both within our org and with external parties.
On the whole its really going down well, though One Drive/Teams/SharePoint divisions are still issues users struggle with.
It would be good to get a holistic approach with Planner, To-Do and Project.
