Merging customers

Active - I've only manually entered those.
I've put history into UD tables though.

It's been a while but I remember appending calls. There might have been some sorting issues and maybe I had to find a KeyLast field and update it.

Does anyone have suggestions for merging customers in E9 (606a
specifically)? For one of my clients, they will occasionally have two
customers merge, and they would like history to show up under a single
customer ID for things like call logs, customer tracker, orders, shipments,
etc.

I've searched posts in this group, answerbooks on Epicweb, tried figuring
out workarounds using Change Cust ID in cust maint and national accounts,
all without success. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jeff

I also would like to know if this is possible. With companies being purchased and or consolidating, this would seem to be a common need.
