Lock table overflow, increase -L on server (915)

You need to increase the lock entries field in the progress explorer.

You will need to stop and restart the database. There is an entry in
the eportal answer book for this. Hope this helps

Receiving this error message now after upgrading to 6.1. According to Progress web help this is caused by too many shared locks and suggests modifying the code to release the locks vs. increasing the -L setting.

Has anyone else received the increase -L errors and what did you do to resolve it? Did you increase (add) a -L setting to the startup.pf file? What value did you use?
