Labor Hours apportionment

Epicor version 9.05.701

We are trying to analyse labor hours and put in accurate standard hours to complete specific jobs.

How does epicor calculate time if an employee is logged into numerous jobs?
Is it like this?

logged into 1 job…whole apportionment.
logged into 2 jobs…50/50 apportionment.
logged into 3 jobs…1/3 apportionment to each job
…and so on.

Many thanks in advance…

simple answer, yes.

The problem were having is trying to identify how:
If 1 employee works on various different jobs OR machines (at the same time), how does epicor apportion his time?
AND is this apportionment fixed or can it be changed?

Reading other forums - they point to resource group setup.

If the logic is the same in E9 as it is in e10 (and I don’t know if it is), then it looks at the labor standard (est time) on the operation and splits out the labor using that as a weight. For example, if Operation A has a standard of 9 hours, and operation B has a standard of 1 hour, and the worker is clocked into both for 5 hours, it will apply 4.5 hours to Operation A and .5 to Operation B. If you don’t have labor standards in place, then there is no weight applied and it will just apply them 50/50.
