Honestly, we are a large tech company. We would not be around if we were not looking at those topics and a hundred others. We can’t always take on every cool thing that comes along as much as many would like internally or externally. If we do ‘x’, what will we do with the thing? What’s the manpower cost to setup, monitor and most importantly, analyze and act upon the data / tool.
Compare that against the customer satisfaction gained versus the next toy or project. It’s an interesting conversation to get into and something everyone should get to experience to broaden your perspective.
