Since at least 10.0, Call Logs look like they can accommodate Purchasing data as it then included Supplier ID as an associated ‘people.’ There is a ‘RelatedToTable’ and 3 keys which should be able to support Supplier, Purchase Orders, RFQ, Price Lists, Invoices, Contracts, DMR’s and other Supplier Relationship Management data.
Business Case: Purchasing is reviewing Late PO’s by emailing or calling the Supplier Contact, this should be able to be recorded in a Supplier Call Log, but there is none, which means Memo’s or Social would need to be used, but those do not have ‘Contact’ fields.
