Customization Script Editor Frustration

Sometimes when you are writing a customization and for no aparent reason Ctrl C, Ctrl V stops working and gets remapped to Ctrl + Insert and Shift + Insert

Has anyone found a way to restore Ctrl C and Ctrl V in these instances? It seems like once this happens, you are for ever doomed in this particular customization.

This has frustrated me for a long time. I havenā€™t found a way around it and I cant test it right now but what about Ctrl+B and switching the command for Copy/Paste/Cut?

Holly crap @duckor #GENIOUS Iā€™ll give it a shot

This works! Thank you @duckor
Ctrl + B brings up this dialog

and you can assign / fix your Keyboard Shortcuts.

Iā€™ve noticed when that happens, CTRL-Ins / Shift-Ins still works.

Bump on this one. Ctrl+B brings up the menu, but it doesnā€™t seem to matter what I do, I leaves that ctrl-ins shift-ins in there. How do I get rid of those?

Now if @Duckor could just tell us how to enable the auto indent.

And whatā€™s the diff between Tabify and Indent ?

Found it my self

Maybe try reset to default. or remove and re-assign the CTRL+C

I tried that.

I think the context menu is always going to show the built-in shortcuts.

FWIW - Iā€™ve always used Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V for copy and paste, without ever going into the Editor Key Bindings.

Also, I assigned Ctrl+Ins to another function (Print), and it changed what pressing Ctrl+Ins does. But the context menu still shows:

Sometimes Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V work, and sometimes they donā€™t. Iā€™m not sure what they are related to, but for the current customization I am working on, it will not work most of the time. Occasionally, it will, which is pretty frustrating because I know it can.

Tabify appears to convert white space to tabs, and Untabify - vice versa

My context menu shows CTRL+INS as well but CTRL+C works just fine.

Anyone know how to get it to work for me?

Make sure that Ctrl+C isnā€™t assigned to any other function.

Safe to assume youā€™ve tried:

Edit:

After using ā€œReset to defaultā€, the Clipboard.Copy function shows as:

And now itā€™s working fine. :rage: I wish I knew what was affecting this.

May you tell me how to get the window ā€œEditor Keys bindingā€?
My Epicor version is 101600. I am very appreciate your support.
Thank you.
