I would like to see a more flexible non-con process. Currently, we are forced to create a non-con, complete and inspection, then create a DMR.
The levels make sense if you need a different decision maker at each step, or if you have quality program that requires it. But for the small to mid-size company, all of that is usually done by one person anyways, and they are simply pencil whipped unnecessary steps. Most of the time the end result is decided on before first the step is even done. So I would like to see some options to be able to skip some of those levels of red-tape if the business decides they don’t want to utilize those parts of the quality process.
