Any downside to turning on "can suspend" in User Security?

I find I have to go in and delete "orphaned" sessions way to often when only allowing one session is enabled, just so a user can get back in.

Our environment is less problematic (meaning fewer problems for me), if I allow multiple sessions.  I just set the timeout (to free up a license pretty low).  I'd rather have some orphaned sessions that hold up a set for 15 minutes, than to have to go in and free up a session just so one person can get back in when there are available seats.

Is there any downside to turning on the “suspend” option in user security?   It REALLY seems to help in auto-recovering from 7221 errors and network hiccups if it’s turned on.   Epicor 9.05.702A

>>any downside
I seem to remember seeing multiple logons after turning this on for some users.
- That was a long time ago and on a V8 system though
- and off the top of my head I can't remember if it really hurt anything, just that it looked odd.

Wondering if you have already looked at  "Enable Network Compression" on the User Options sheet?
Some people swear by it.

Thanks Bruce,

Not too worried about multiple logons as I only allow one session on each user.  Our problem is that I always have to go in and kill a bunch of sessions whenever we have a network hiccup and Epicor crashes with the 7221 so users can log back on.  I tried testing the network compression thing but I still got 7221 errors..
