On the part class, you can sit negative inventory to stop, warn or none. It sound like your part class might be set to stop on negative inventory.

I see it’s an Allocation issue, not enough unallocated inventory. Not sure what options I have

On 9.700c don’t have AMM but have MRP (not being used)

I would like to do a Packing slip no matter if there is Available Stock or Unallocated stock.

Then later receipt goods to increase stock or Inventory Adjustment to adjust stock

There must be a tick box I’m missing somewhere

Hi Mark,

Is this Epicor 9.05?

And I presume you have AMM (Advanced Material Management)?

The message “There is not enough unallocated inventory in this bin for this transaction” means that the inventory there is already allocated to another or other orders. It doesn’t mean it is negative.

Look in the Part Tracker, Allocations tab for one of the parts that is giving you an issue an you should see what orders have either been picked or packed but not shipped.

Hi Guys,

Is there an option somewhere in Epicor9 to allow the Shipping even
though it will create and Negative stock status. It a pain because in
some cases stores haven’t receipt stock in yet but Sales want to ship
parts out immediately. This is also a problem with Kits if there is an
inventory mistake with one of the kit parts which will go into negative
with shipment

Can’t do a Packing slip - There is not enough unallocated inventory in
this bin for this transaction
