9.05.702 - Context Menu Maintenance - Sorting Items

Hi Patrick,

I do remember back when we had Vantage that there was an xml file that held context menus and I had modified the order of the possible selections, but I can't remember where that file was located. Were currently running 905.701.

Prost!

David

I’m adding some dashboards as options in “Context Menu Maintenance”.

Anyone found a way to sort or rearrange items on the menu list?

Just by changing the Parent Menu ID and Order Sequence Number. Tedious but it works.

Not ‘Menu Maintenance’, ‘Context Menu Maintenance’ – The right click open with list.

I believe they show up in the order they are shown when you look at them so short of removing / re-adding in a certain order I think you are SOL. The bigger question would be why does it matter?

Why does it matter?

When getting to 12 or more items, I would like to have things organized, alpha, OR grouped so there is some organizational logic behind it.
